Physiotherapy
Our Physiotherapy service specialises in evidence-based treatment of injuries, chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction at our clinic in Frinton on Sea. Our physiotherapists are all CSP and HCPC registered with a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience.
Sports and Deep Tissue Massage Therapy
If you're in pain or dealing with an injury, massage treatment is highly effective and beneficial . Our massage therapy is provided by our Sports Masseur.
Shockwave Therapy
When you have a chronic injury that lasts for weeks or months, your body may be restricted or unable to encourage a healing response. Shockwave therapy is a treatment that can rapidly encourage the healing of chronic injuries in just 3-6 treatments delivered at weekly intervals.
Injuries such as Achilles Tendinopathies and Plantar Fasciitis that have lingered for weeks, months or years can be eliminated in a very short period.
Apos® Therapy
Apos® is an innovative, personalised and non-surgical treatment for knee, hip and lower back pain, which has been clinically proven to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Developed by doctors from the fields of orthopaedics and sports medicine, Apos® is based on established scientific principles of biomechanics and neuromuscular control. The therapy utilises an individually adjusted unique biomechanical foot-worn device and is performed as part of a patient’s day to day activities. It is especilally useful for those wanting to avoid joint replacment surgery.
Injection Therapy
Injection therapy can be a very useful form of treatment to settle acute symptoms to allow you to engage with rehabilitation or to manage long-term chronic conditions.
There are two main types of injection therapy we offer at Coastal Physiotherapy that have proven benefits for a wide range of pain conditions such as frozen shoulders, arthritis, tennis elbow, bursitis and tendonitis – Corticosteroid Injections and Ostenil injections (Hyaluronic Acid Injections). If you are new to the practice, we recommned booking an initial consultation woith our specialist Physiotherapist to find out which option would be most appropriate for you.
Domicillary (Home) Physiotherapy
Our Home visit service for clients who are unable or have difficulty leaving their home. This service is suitable for those with mobility needs, falls risk, neurological conditions e.g. Stroke or Parkinson's Disease and Post-operative care. We cover the CO13/14 and CO15/16 postcode area (excluding CO16 8** postcodes). Please call 01255 850 350 to book.

Pilates 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 sessions
We provide 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 Pilates sessions aimed at giving you a personalised Pilates session tailored specilifically to your needs. It can be a good option for beginners, people with injuries, or those who want to focus on specific areas. It is also useful for those who want to try a pilates session before joining a group / class. Our Physiotherapist is APPI qualified in Clinical Pilates.
