Our Physiotherapy service specialises in evidence-based treatment of injuries, chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction at our clinic in Frinton on Sea. Our physiotherapists are all CSP and HCPC registered with a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience.

There are two main types of injection therapy we offer at Coastal Physiotherapy that have proven benefits for a wide range of pain conditions such as frozen shoulders, arthritis, tennis elbow, bursitis and tendonitis – Corticosteroid Injections and Ostenil injections (Hyaluronic Acid Injections). If you are new to the practice, we recommned booking an initial consultation woith our specialist Physiotherapist to find out which option would be most appropriate for you.


Domicillary (Home) Physiotherapy

Our Home visit service for clients who are unable or have difficulty leaving their home. This service is suitable for those with mobility needs, falls risk, neurological conditions e.g. Stroke or Parkinson's Disease and Post-operative care. Pilates 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 sessions

We provide 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 Pilates sessions aimed at giving you a personalised Pilates session tailored specilifically to your needs. It can be a good option for beginners, people with injuries, or those who want to focus on specific areas. It is also useful for those who want to try a pilates session before joining a group / class. Our Physiotherapist is APPI qualified in Clinical Pilates.

Rochelle trained at King’s College, London and qualified in 1999. She has worked at St George’s Hospital, Tooting and Ipswich Hospital before starting community rehabilitation in 2007 in Tendring and Colchester. Alex has been a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist since 2009. He has worked at the Royal Free Hospital in London, Colchester’s Mill Road Spinal Clinic and Clacton Hospital. Alex is experienced in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a special interest in neck and back pain, sports injuries, manual therapy and Pilates. His experience as an endurance athlete and qualified personal trainer has allowed him to bring these disciplines into individual rehabilitation programmes. Fleur is our Clinic Director. She qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist for 1998. She has worked at Barts and The Royal London and Addenbrookes’ Hospital as well as private practices and the Nuffield Hospital in Ipswich.
